In Unit VII, you will submit a research paper based on a law or compliance standard in the medical field where you must apply ethical standards to safeguard protected health information. In the research paper, you should provide at least two workplace scenarios in which this law or standard must be applied. In these scenarios, you will provide recommendations for protecting health information. For this submission, you will submit a formal sentence outline of your research paper. Include the following components in your outline:

• At the top of your outline, include your thesis statement for the research paper.
• Use complete sentences for your headings and subheadings.
• Include at least two outside sources with in-text citations in the outline and full reference listings at the end of the outline.
• You should be thorough in your research so your professor or a colleague could adequately determine your intended topic and the direction you are going with your paper.

This research outline must be at least two pages in length. At least one of your sources must come from the CSU Online Library.
