Applying Business Strategy to Your Doctoral Study

Post an application of strategic planning concepts to professional and academic contexts. Your application should include answers to the following:

What concepts did you find that changed the way you developed your Hook statement?

What connections did you discover that helped to ground your Anchor statement?

How did your General Business Problem incorporate any key learning outcomes for the course?

How will this course content help you refine your Specific Business Problem?

Be sure to support your work with a minimum of two specific citations from this week’s Learning Resources and at least one additional scholarly source.

Anchor Statement  

Student presents a thorough and detailed explanation of what connections he/she discovered that helped to ground his/her Anchor statement. Several sources and examples support thinking.

Student presents a thorough and detailed explanation of how his/her General Business Problem incorporated any of the key outcomes for the course. Several sources and examples support thinking.  

Initial Post – Specific Business Problem  

Student presents a thorough and detailed explanation of how this course content helped him/her refine his/her Specific Business Problem. Several sources and examples support thinking.  

Written Delivery Style & Grammar  

Student consistently follows APA writing style and basic rules of formal English grammar and written essay style. Student communicates in a cohesive, logical style. There are no spelling or grammar errors.  

Formal and Appropriate Documentation of Evidence, Attribution of Ideas (APA Citations)  

Student demonstrates full adherence to scholarly reference requirements and adheres to APA style with respect to source attribution, references, heading and subheading logic, table of contents and lists of charts, etc. There are no APA errors.
